Broxburn created the first chance in two minutes when to Alexander Miller saw the striker’s effort well saved by James Donaldson . Joe Kinninmonth had an opportunity on four minutes but Connor Wallace was sharp and thwarted the effort .Greg Binnie made a great run down the left hand side and his ball to the back of the penalty box saw John Grant fire a shot of the right hand post and it went away from the danger area . A minute later at the other end a good ball into the box found Lewis Payne who forced a great save from Wallace  and then cleared by John Grant . Good football with Kelly back to Grant then into the box but miller headed past the left hand post . With 20 minutes gone Lee Reid tried an effort from 25 yards out but Wallace saved easily . Kelly and Binnie combined to force a great save from Donaldson on 25 minutes . Three minutes later grant set up Kelly but once more Donaldson was on top form to save . With the half drawing to a close Scott Richards set up Binnie but his shot went wide right of the target .

The second half was slow to get going and it was 59 minutes before any chance worth of note happened when Binnie cut down the right before setting up Richards who’s shot went over the bar . The visitors almost took the lead on 65 minutes when Regan Lumsden saw a close in effort turned behind for a corner by Wallace . At the other end a minute later Kinninmonth finished off a good move by shooting wide of the target .Binnie was stopped in his tracks when through on the keeper by Donaldson a minute later .  The game was swinging back and forward and a Lumsden free kick sailed over the bar a minute later . Just past the half way mark of the second half saw a miller header go wide right . Miller again forced a save a minute later from Donaldson . Scott Richards tried an ambitious scissor kick but was penalised for dangerous play .Craig Scott saw a shot go straight into Donaldson who saved easily. A good run by Newman down the right saw his ball turned into the net by ALEXANDER MILLER on 75 minutes . Broxburn  applied constant pressure as they took a grip of the game but could not force a second goal .Chances galore were being created but they could not finish the visitors off . This was to come back and deny them all three points when a ball into the box was missed by Wallace DANIEL WATT was on hand to rescue a point for his side on 80 minutes   .It was Broxburn who still pressed for the winner with the better opportunities but could not turn chances into goals and the game ended with the points shared . A good game against a good side with their keeper keeping them in the game through out the match
