A friendly match against Lowland league challengers Spartans filled a void in our fixture Callander gave the management the opportunity to give much needed game time to players coming back from injury and pressing for a place in the starting line-up. A close encounter as both teams created chances on an even balanced first half with only a Jamie Dishington strike beating Josh Blair on 38 minutes after good build up play by the hosts.
with a full team substitution at half time apart from Craig Newal everybody got good game time and we still competed with Spartans and again were unlucky not to level with several chances in the second period. Overall, a good exercise only cloud was Injury to Gary Brass on the hour mark but hopefully not to serious.
