Broxburn took the lead after only three minutes through CONNOR KELLY . Newtongrange equalised on 15 minutes when a Kevin Bracks attempt came off SHAUN HARRISON and passed his own keeper Connor Wallace . Broxburn Athletic regained their lead when ALEXANDER MILLER scored in 25 minutes  to give his side a half time lead .

Newtongrange were quickly on level terms in 57 minutes when STEPHEN SCOTT scored  to end the scoring at 2-2 ,a result that saw both sides qualify for the first round proper of the league cup
