Broxburn started well and in two minutes  a good ball into the box was headed over the bar by Alexander Miller . Four minutes later Miller sent a ball into the box and Conor Kelly cut it back but the defence cleared the danger . A minute later good play on the right saw miller lay the ball out to Jack Beesley who sent the ball into the box where Kelly headed towards goal and Stuart Leavvy in the hosts goal  saved well before his defence cleared the danger .. On ten minutes Miller had a good touch before shooting and forcing a save from Leavvy .  The opening came on twelve minutes when a good move from Beesley to Miller and this time Millers ball was met by CONOR KELLY who hit the back of the net .Two minutes later the host’s should have been level when Robert Love was through one on one with Wallace but the striker lobbed the keeper and the bar with his effort . Broxburn came close again when a Beesley free kick into the box was met by Miller who hit the wood work and when it rebounded the keeper saved well . Half way through the half two good blocks from the home defence kept the score down to one . Kerr Dale had a fresh air  shot on  27 minutes  and the visitors had a let off . The last chance of the half fell to the home side when Wallace handled a pass back inside the box and the home side were awarded a in direct free kick that was blocked then cleared by Kelly on 34 minutes  .

Early in the second half Connor Kelly made a good run into the box on the right but chose to pass behind his team mates across the box rather than shoot himself . On 51 minutes a ball into the box was met with his back to goals Nicholas Locke who’s scissor kick went narrowly wide of the right upright . Three minutes later a good ball to Miller saw the striker turn and shoot but over the target . Dale had a good free kick saved by Wallace at the expense of a corner . On 64 minutes Alexander Miller had a great chance six yards out to ease the nerves but fired over from a great scoring position. A minute later good play from Miller and Kelly saw Miller shoot over the bar again . With 71 minutes on the clock and nerves showing Kerr Dale saw a shot saved by Wallace . Locke mishit a shot straight at the keeper on 76 minutes . The last 15 minutes saw no real goal scoring opportunity’s and Broxburn progressed thanks to the early Conor Kelly effort .

We will play better and loose so we take the result and move on putting the performance behind us .
