Wright extends his stay at Albyn Park
We’re pleased to share the news that Jordan Wright has extended his contract at Broxburn Athletic.
The one-year extension takes the centre back’s contract into 2023.
The defender has been in solid form at the start of this season and he is an integral part of manager Chris Townsley’s vision for the side.
Jordan spoke to us about staying on with the brox: ” I have enjoyed every minute of my time at Broxburn since joining last year.
“Playing my football here has surpassed my expectations and it’s an absolute pleasure to be a part of such an incredible squad.”
Jordan expressed his gratitude to the club, teammates, and fans adding: “The level of professionalism shown across the whole club is incredible. We are given the best of best here I just hope we can repay in our performances.
“I hope we can get a good cup run going and push the pace in the league to give us the right platform moving forward.”

The draw for the third round of the SFA South Challenge Cup has now been scheduled for Thursday night (21/10/2021) at the East of Scotland board meeting as soon as I know roughly what time , I will send out at message and try to put the draw live on Broxburn Athletics Facebook .Appreciate this will be short notice .

After a great result away to Lowland league side Berwick Rangers on Saturday we will be in the third round draw which is scheduled to be drawn next week sometime beginning the 25th October . The third round is scheduled for Saturday the 20th of November .

BUS TO BERWICK RANGERS GAME
There is a bus going to the game next week down at Berwick . There are stipulations regarding the official party travelling . All in the official party need to have two flo tests results prior to the day with one more on the morning of the match . This is stipulated by the SFA when playing a club in tier 5 of the pyramid in Scotland . Please register your result with the nhs website and bring your test strips with your name and date of test written on the back of them before getting on the bus . Please book seats early as not many seats are available . Book a seat through any of the committee members .
NEW SIGNING
Broxburn have added to our squad with the signing of defender Daniel Nimmo from Linlithgow Rose . When Dan was made know to us that he was available we were very keen to get his signature and both parties are delighted with the move . Dan Played his debut on Wednesday evening against Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts and had a very satisfactory debut .
