We are delighted to announce that David has agreed to continue his playing career at Broxburn Athletic with his new role as player/coach and his experience will be a major asset to the club we wish David well for the upcoming season . David was the Players and Coaches player of the year last season , speaks volumes for the respect he carries from his fellow team mates .
Broxburn Athletic received a bye in the first round of the Traderadiators South Challenge Cup . In the second round we will play the winners of the Dalkeith Thistle v Whitburn Tie . The second round is scheduled for the 20th of August 2022
This week’s Keydraw was won by Bobby Kane who collected £50 as Leona who helped with the draw failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box . The third signing from Musselburgh Athletic is Josh Jeffries . The 24 year old midfielder played 30 times for Musselburgh Athletic last season contributing 8 goals and many assists . He was previously with Dundonald Bluebell , Kilmarnock and Stirling Albion . We welcome Josh to the Brox .
Craig Henderson is another signing from East Stirlingshire . The 21 year old midfielder is looking forward to helping The Burn have success .Craig is having his second stint in West Lothian having been at Livingston prior to East Stirlingshire .We welcome Craig to the club .
Midfielder Stevie Clark is the latest new face at the Albyn Park Stevie joins us from Edinburgh United where he moved to after a spell at Lesmahagow . We welcome Stevie to the club and look forward to seeing him play in the red and white of The Burn .
Admission prices will be changing for season 2022/2023 to £8 for Adults (over 16’s) and £4 for Concessions (over 65’s) Season tickets will be available very soon and are priced at £112 for adults (over 16) concessions are £56 (65 and over ) under 16’s can acquire a free season ticket on application Details when and where to buy the tickets will be made asap .There is an early bird price for the tickets bought before the 23rd of July with Adults being £105 and Concessions £45
The club has decided to issue free season tickets to under 16’s for season 2022/2023 . We hope the uptake is good and the local community can back the club through this initiative . News of when these free season tickets will be available soon and will be announced on our social media pages with details on how they can be obtained .
Jordan Orru has joined from Musselburgh Athletic . The defender was superb for his previous club against us and we forward to him carrying on that form in the Red and White of The Burn .He has had previous spells with Berwick Rangers and Dunfermline Athletic .
David Churchill has joined the influx of players arriving at the Albyn park for season 2022/2023 .David was playing midfield with Eaststirlingshire last season and had a spell with Civil Service Strollers . He has had a spell at the Albyn before with Broxburn Colts under 19’s. We welcome David to the club and wish him well during his stay here .
