A deserved win for the hosts today with three goals to one to see them progress into the next round of the Football Nation Cup . Two first half goals that could have been avoided set them up in the game .The third at the start of the second half more or less sealed their passage although we did get one back through Conor Kelly late on it was to little to late  Away to Jeanfield Swifts in the league next week will give us a good game to get back on track .

Broxburn Ath v Craigroyston

A comfortable win today with a clean sheet .Took a while to get going but were comfortable all through the game Craigroyston did play some good football at times which we dealt with . To confirm Nicholas Locke first goal was onside as confirmed by our analyst who was videoing the match for her studies .A second goal on the half time whistle from Chris Townsley eased  the team into the second half where further goals from Greg Binnie and Scott Richards sent us back to the top of the league again . Tougher game expected next week against Penicuik in the Football Nation Cup  with a 2-30pm kick off under their floodlights .(full report on today’s game under matches asap )

KEY DRAW RESULT

Sunday’s keydraw was won by Davie Forie Forrest c/o The Badgers Brook  who won £50 but failed to pick the right key to open the jackpot box .Next week’s draw will be on Sunday the 25th of November and will have a jackpot of £800 with 11 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box .

Linlithgow Rose v Broxburn Ath

Not a good day at the office with our 100% league record gone in a flash . We are a better team than the performance today and will regroup and move on but it is very disappointing to loose to one of our biggest rivals the way we did . Almost 300 at the game one person claimed for a penalty, the referee, and that includes the Linlithgow Rose faithful .Next week we regroup and move on with a home game against Craigroyston in the league with a 2-30pm kick off

KEY DRAW RESULT

John Yorkson c/o The Masonic Arms won £50 in this week’s Key Draw but failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box . Next week’s draw on the 18th of November will have a jackpot of £750 and 12 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box

CAMERON ROSS DEBUT

A very good debut for Cameron Ross as he started today’s game at Heriot Watt University . He showed why we signed him and he was not fazed by meeting most of his team mates shortly before kick off .He capped it all off with a goal from the penalty spot . Well done Cameron keep up the good work
