Broxburn Athletic have been drawn away to Fauldhouse/Boness Utd or Linlithgow Rose in the semi final of the Conservatory Convertors Fife and Lothians cup .The other semi-final is Musselburgh Ath v Tranent or Kelty Hearts .Dates to be confirmed .

What a way to bounce back after last weeks performance .With the side depleted by injury and holidays everyone of the players today gave their all for the jersey and deserve all the plaudits for this excellent performance .Right through the side the attitude was fantastic and the ease of which we got our goals was a joy to behold .Goals from Miller (2) , McNaughton , Scott , Paterson and Anderson was just reward for their efforts .Midweek to look forward to at home to Bonnyrigg Rose with a 7pm kick off in the McBookie Superleague .

Not a good day when your opponent’s go down to ten men every one thought there would be one winner but Lochee to their credit kept up early pace of game and could have won more comfortably than the 1-0 through a 56 minute penalty which was a bit harsh ,just one of many baffling decisions made by the officials .We need to play better and beating last seasons improved points total of 44 looks tougher to achieve .(full report on matches asap )
SEMI FINAL BECKONS
A 9-0 win over Edinburgh united ensured safe passage into the next round of the Conservatory Convertors Fife and Lothian cup , The Semi Final , .Despite lower league opposition the players approached this game like any other and found their scoring boots when needed Miller (3) , Nimmo (2), Anderson (2) and Richards (2) were the marks men tonight but their were a lot of polished performance’s tonight as the scoreline may well tell . After speaking to The association secretary the draw may well take place on Saturday the 29th of April at the Hillof Beath v Penicuik Athletic match that day with Penicuik being the holders .

A scrappy game spoiled by the wind never allowed for flowing football so it was good to secure the three points under the conditions .
