KEYDRAW RESULT

This week’s key draw was won by Lorrette Shade c/o John O’Donnel and she won £50 . She failed to pick the right key to open the jackpot box so next week’s Key Draw jackpot will be £500 with 17 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box .The next draw will be on Sunday 14th of July  .

RELAXING DAY BY THE SEA

The players were taken to Gullane sands this morning for a bonding training session and were treated to some hard work with a nice dip in the North Sea to finish with .All Coped with the harsh sand dunes very well and were spared the dreaded MURDER HILL due to the popularity of it with other clubs there in front of ourselves and a waiting list  .Below is some photo’s of a day out to remember  .

DISCIPLINE FOR SEASON 2018/2019

Discipline records for season 2018/2019 have been published .Clubs yellow and red cards are tallied up over the season and the SFA work out an average discipline points tally for each club in each league separately with the leagues average being calculated at 7.1 discipline points  . In the East of Scotland League the average points were 7.1 with clubs a point above this average receiving a fine as per discipline procedure’s .The club with the lowest average were Heriot Watt University and they are to be congratulated on their discipline last season , I am pleased to report that our disciplinary record was only second best to them and the players should be congratulated on this . Lets hope we can repeat and improve the discipline results with the same results on the park as well well done to all the squad .

KEYDRAW WINNER

Sunday’s Keydraw was won by Jim and Frank c/o The Badgers and they will collect £50 but they failed to open the jackpot box so next week’s jackpot will be £450 with 18 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box .Next draw is on the 7th of July .

PRE SEASON WARM UP

Broxburn Athletic have finalised some pre season matches . On Saturday the 13th of July we are away to Civil Service Strollers with a 2-30pm kick off . On Tuesday the 16th of July we are at home to Pumpherston uniors with a 7-30pm kick off . On Saturday the 20th of July we travel to Clydebank with a 2-30pm kick off . The season starts on Saturday the 29th of July and these fixtures will be issued very soon .

SEASON TICKETS AVAILABLE

With a cracking Premier league to look forward to next season you will get value for money at the games . Admission will be Adults £6 Concessions £3  with under 16’s free . Season tickets are available with adults priced at £78 and concessions are priced at £39 ,this represents a two game free over the 15 leagues games we will have at home . Premier Associate season tickets are priced at £108 with Concessions priced at £69 ,these tickets allow the holder to have a cup of tea and sandwich at half time during home league games . KEYDRAW RESULT

This week’s key draw was won by Bernard c/o the Half way house and he won £50 but failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box . Next week’s draw on Sunday the 23rd of June will have a jackpot of £350 and 20 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box .

KEYDRAW JACKPOT WON

This week’s keydraw has a jackpot winner  with George Bell c/o The Badgers Brook won a total of £1300  having picked the right key to open the jackpot box and added £1250 to the initial £50 prize . Congratulations to George  .Next week’s draw on Sunday the 16th of June  will have a jackpot of £300 with 21 keys to pick from .

CONFERENCE WINNER’S AWARDS

At the East of Scotland League A.G.M.  the three winners of the Conference leagues were awarded their trophy in recognition of the three clubs achievement Broxburn Athletic ,Penicuik Athletic and Over all league winners Bonnyrigg Rose .below is the award which will be presented to the players when they return for pre season training .

CUP DRAWS

Cup draws were made tonight at the East of Scotland league AGM and in the Football Nation Qualifying cup we are away to Jeanfield Swifts in the first round (yes Jeanfield away in a cup again )  tie to be played on Saturday the 17th of August 2019 .The winners will be at home to Arniston Rangers or Haddington Athletic date to be confirmed . In the Central Taxi’s League cup there will be no sections this season and the First round dates have to be confirmed with the second round to be played on Saturday the 7th of March 2020 .We received a bye in the first round but were drawn away to Coldstream in the second round . These ties are added to the South Region Challenge cup drawn last week where we were drawn at home to Tynecastle in the first round with the winners at  home to  Edinburgh University in the second round with dates to be confirmed . League fixtures will be issued nearer the end of the month .
