The SFA have told all clubs from the top to grassroots that due to the Coronavirus all football will be suspended until further notice . As yet no one knows how long this will last and updates will be posted when and if they are issued in due course . This is unprecedented situation across the world and we will all have to be patient and hope this passes quickly . The English football authorities have put a review date of the 4th of April where as we have no limit to the suspension in Scotland .It will undoubtedly be a challenging time for clubs and we hope all come through this period safe and sound .

COLDSTREAM V BROXBURN ATHLETIC
As comfortable as the 6-1 score line would suggest , it was done with a professional polished performance ..With the squad down to bare bones with illness and injury ,the strength of squad shone through . A hat trick from Connor Kelly added to by goals from Scott Richards ,Greg Binnie and Jack Beesley sees us progress through to the third round which is scheduled for Saturday the 18th of April and the draw is still to be made .The strength of the squad is going to be vital in the week’s to come with mid week matches scheduled for the next few week’s .Ryan Foggo from the under 20’s got some first team game time in the cup tie . We wish Coldstream all the best for the rest of the season and thank them for their hospitality .

Todays game was not the best first 45 minutes to watch but on the second half display we just shaded a very tough match . This week’s match at home to Sauchie in the Central Taxi’s Premier league will be played at Livingston Football Club’s “Tony Macaroni Stadium” with a 3-00pm kick off . Broxburn Athletic season tickets are valid for this match and like the last game against Dunbar United we will be accommodated in the East stand with Adults £6 and Concessions £3 .This will be our last home game on our travels with the park almost guaranteed to be handed back to us next week some time .

JEANFIELD MATCH OFF
Saturday’s match at Jeanfield Swifta is postponed due to water on their park . It was decided to allow an early postponement to allow both clubs to make alternative arrangements and to cancel transport etc . Theer is more rain forecast for the area tonight so beat to not leave the decision to late . Broxburn ath will now play a friendly at our training pitch in Clifton Hall School against Pumpherston with a 1-15pm kick off
