Bonnyrigg Rose will have to wait till at least Wednesday to win the league, when they host Camelon , even after a 5-0 win at Carnoustie .Kelty won 3-1 at Camelon and can mathematically can still catch them level on points but will have to turn around a 17 goal difference to do so and hope Bonnyrigg loose their two remaining games .Kelty have four games left .

Bonnyrigg Rose are only one win away from guaranteeing the title after coming from behind to beat Hill of Beath  3-2 with the only challengers Kelty hearts winning 3-0 at Broughty Athletic .The bottom five clubs out of six that played today all lost and there is no change there .Haddington finished their league programme severely denting Lochee Uniteds promotion hopes winning 3-2 win  at home . Jeanfield put pressure on Dundonald with a 3-1 win over Falkirk at home while the leaders dropped points to lowly Oakley in a 0-0 home draw .Whitburn moved to within 3 points of second placed Blackburn with a 4-1 win at home to Dunbar  in the south district league ,Blackburn  who won 3-1 at West Calder , with 3 games left while Blackburn have finished all their games  and Whitburn have a better goal difference as well they could pip long term challengers to the second promotion spot .

Bonnyrigg Rose consolidated their position at the top of the league with a 2-0 away win over close neighbours Newtongrange Star . Camelon won 2-0 at home to Sauchie  juniors  who finished their league campaign with a shaky 32 points giving the teams below a target to aim for to avoid the drop , every club below them can better that total and will be a nervous end of the season for the Beechwood outfit .

Boness United thumped bitter rivals Linlithgow Rose  4-0 to progress in the DJ Laing East of Scotland cup and give them a away tie at Dalkeith Thistle . Lochee Utd continued to pressure the two favourites for promotion with a 2-0 home win over the relegation favourites   Thornton Hibs . Arniston Rangers continued their late push for an outside chance for the play off place with a 3-2 win at home to Haddington Athletic .

Disapointing day for Broxburn going down 4-0 away to Dalkeith in the 3rd round of the DJ Laing East of Scotland cup . In the Superleague both Boness and Linlithgow lost ground on leaders Bonnyrigg going down 2-0 at home to Newtongrange and 3-1 away to Sauchie respectively .Kelty were the only challengers to win winning 3-2 at St Andrews .Montrose Roselea signed off their stay in the East region with a 4-2 home defeat to Lochee Utd as they will be playing in the North Region of junior football next season after applying to join the other region .Downfield closed the gap to one point on leaders Blairgowrie with a 5-0 away win at Forfar Albion .Highest score of the season was in the South district league where Blackburn demolished Kirkcaldy YM  11(eleven ) nil at home to go into second place with a three point gap to Whitburn  who have 4 games left as opposed to Blackburn’s one  game left

Two important games in the Superleague tonight and Bonnyrigg with ten men drew 2-2 at Linlithgow to strengthen their grip on the title challenge .At the other end Fauldhouse United are making a battle of it winning 1-0 at Camelon to climb off the bottom of the league above both Tayport and St Andrews .Dundonald picked up a valuable three points beating neighbours Kennoway Star  Hearts 4-3 to make them favourites to get promoted as champions .In the GA Engineeering cup both super league sides Broughty and Carnoustie were beaten in the semi finals by Premier league sides Jeanfield Swifta 2-1 and Lochee United 3-0 respectively to set up a Tannadice final .

Bonnyrigg  Rose consolidated their place at the top of the Superleague coming from behind  to beat Musselburgh Ath 3-1 .With Kelty and bones losing to Tayport 2-1  and Linlithgow Rose 3-0 means it is theirs to loose now with a crunch game at Linlithgow on Wednesday .At the bottom it has tightened up with Fauldhouse winning 3-0 away at Carnoustie and Tayport  as mentioned winning 2-1 at Kelty Hearts it is turning into a dog fight with the bottom seven clubs all being sucked into the battle to avoid the drop . In the Premier league all top five sides lost leaving the promotion race as it was on Saturday morning .In the North district league Blairgowrie stretched their lead to 4 points over Downfield  after a 3-1 away win at Coupar Angus with the second placed side drawing 0-0 at Glenrothes   giving the hosts there an outside chance of promotion .In the south district league Whitburn moved back into second place from Blackburn after a 2-2 draw at Rosyth Recreation where Tranent won the league last weekend .

The only two Superleague matches played tonight saw ten man Tayport go down 4-0 at home to Carnoustie Panmure  and St Andrews lose 1-0 at Broughty Athletic to leave both defeated clubs with an uphill battle to avoid relegation or at best the play offs  . In the McBookie Premier league Lochee Utd suffered a severe blow to their promotion chances when going down 1-0 at Jeanfield Swifts giving the hosts a major boost in  their promotion effort’s ,in the only other match in the division Arniston Rangers won 4-0 at home to Falkirk Juniors .In the North District league Lochore lost 2-0 at home to Glenrothes to give the vistors a good shout for promotion .Ten man   Newtongrange Star knocked league leaders Bonnyrigg Rose out of the DJ Laing East Of Scotland cup 3rd round winning 2-0 at home  . With Forfar West End  winning 1-0 at Blairgowrie at the same stage .Fauldhouse Utd lost 2-0 in the 2nd round of the Conservatory Convertors Fife and Lothians cup at home to Linlithgow Rose with Musselburgh Ath winning 3-1 at home to Camelon in the same round .At the quarter final stage Kelty Hearts travelled to Sauchie and won 1-0 .
