Our next two fixtures have been issued .This Saturday the 1st of October we travel to Glenafton for the Scottish Junior cup 1st round replay with a 2-30pm kick off .This game will be played to a finish with penalties if the game finishes in a draw at 90 minutes . The following week we are at home to Bathgate Thistle in the 1st round of the Conservatory Convertors Fife & Lothians cup with a 2-30pm kick off .This game will be played to a finish with penalties after 90 minutes if the game ends in a draw .

Broxburn Ath v Glenafton

Broxburn Ath threw away a two goal lead in injury time against ten man Glenafton to force a replay next Saturday 1st of October with a 2-30pm kick off .Goals from Scott Richards (2) and Craig Purves looked like sealing a bench mark victory but i am sure they will take their disappointment out next week and determined to finish the job .(Full report in matches and fixtures asap)

What can be said of this trouncing probably not a lot .It is the first time in a long time have felt realy gutted as we never crossed the line yesterday and let Musselburgh dictate the game .We can only hope the players can put this behind them and be up for next weeks cup match ,this will show their character if they can .Full report will be in matches and fixtures later today

With the spotlight for most clubs on DJ Laing East of Scotland first round games their were no real upsets at this stage Perhaps Lochee United getting beat 2-0 at home to Downfield but they were down to ten men early in the game . In the William Hill Scottish senior club all junior clubs will be in the first round draw proper .Lets hope Bonnyrigg have run out of goals after putting 14(fourteen) without reply at home to Burntisland shipyards .Linlithgow went through after taking a 2-0 lead after ten minutes with Threave Rovers scoring a minute later to complete the scoring .

Broxburn progressed to the second round of the DJ Laing East of Scotland cup with a 5-3 win after being down 3-0 after half hour .They must be credited with character they showed to come back from this.
