BROXBURN ATH V PENICUIK ATH

Very disappointing today to loose our unbeaten home record in the way we did . Our injury list was critical as we approached this game . I know Penicuik had player shortage as well but they coped better than ourselves on the day even when down to ten men scored another three goals as they dominated the game after their first goal . We did have chances in the first half but it was not to be  .Need to dust ourselves down and get on to next week’s game in a positive mood and put this game into the archives . Plus note Ewan Herriot and Euan Valentine played their first ninety minutes and acquitted themselves well in tough conditions .(full report on website under matches )

KEY DRAW

Sorry for delay thought had posted this .. ….  Last week’s key draw was won by Neil McKenrick c/o The Masonic Arms who won £5o but failed to pick the key to open the jackpot box . Next week’s draw will have a jackpot of £350 with 20 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box .

Hill of Beath V Broxburn Ath

Disappointment at full time not to come away with three  after our first half performance with a Scott Richards counter putting us up 1-0 at the break .Numerous missed chances and excellent goalkeeping from Stuart Hall kept the hosts in the game . A Daniel Watt effort on 65 minutes shared the spoils with both sides missing efforts to win the game it finished probably fairly in a share of the spoils .

JACKPOT WON

John Yorkson c/o The Masonic Arms won the jackpot in the key draw winning £1450 jackpot plus the £50 weekly prize for an Easter cracking £1500 well done to John . Next weeks draw will be on Sunday the 8th of April and the Jackpot will be back to £300 with 21 keys left to pick from to open the Jackpot box .

KEY DRAW STILL NOT WON

This weeks Key Draw will have a jackpot of £1450 and only two keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box .Last week’s winner was Ronnie and Hazel c/o The Greentree who won £50 but failed to pick the key to open the jackpot box .Next draw is Sunday 1st of April .(sorry for delay in post computer problems)

Broxburn Ath v Sauchie

Eight goals shared today with Broxburn fighting back three times to preserve our unbeaten home record . Taking the lead through a wonderful KIeran Anderson strike was followed by the Visitors going level before half time . Sauchie took the lead early in the second half but we got back on terms through Alexander miller who equalised a third goal for Sauchie soon after .Sauchie went 4-3 up before it did not look good for the home side but Kieran Anderson  pulled it out the bag with another wonderful strike going into injury time .Not the best performance of the season but still got our record to hold on to so must take some positive’s out of it .

Darren Gribben

Darren Gribben has ,by mutual consent ,had his contract at the club terminated . We would like to thank Darren for his contribution the past year or so and wish him all the best for the future where ever that takes him .

The Jackpot Goes On £1400
