We would like to thank everybody who turned up at the Albyn park for our Scottish Cup tie with Blackburn United and supported the boys through to the next round . It was pleasing for both clubs that 70 , 16 and under took advantage of free admission . Just to also let 16 and under’s know you can still claim your free season ticket for Broxburn Athletic games . You can get these on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm untill 8pm at the club .

KEYDRAW NEW DATE AND TIME
We have moved the keydraw to a Tuesday evening from the Sunday . The draw will now take place on Tuesday’s at 7.30pm and will be live on our Facebook page .
SCOTTISH CUP DRAW
The Scottish cup first round will be drawn on Monday the 29th of August at 3-00pm and will be live on all Scottish Cup social media platforms . Highland and Lowland sides will enter the competition at this stage .
NEW ARRIVAL AT THE BROX
We have the pleasure of confirmation of signing Josh Blair a goalkeeper who made his official debut in last week’s game at Oakley . Josh has been training at the Albyn for over a month now and we are delighted he has chosen to sign with competition from other clubs keen to sign him . He was Hibs last few season’s with a spell on loan to GalaFairydean Rovers at the end of last season .
KEYDRAW RESULT
This week’s keydraw was won by Brian Chapman c/o The Badgers , he collected £50 as Jack Sayers who helped with the draw failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box . Next week’s Keydraw will be moving to the new day of Tuesday’s with a time to be arrange in due course . The next draw will be on Tuesday the 30th of August and will have a jackpot of £350 with 20 keys to pick from to open the jackpot box . We thank jack for his time helping with the draw today .
TRADERADIATORS CUP FIXTURE
After todays results we now know that we will travel to Whitburn in the second round of the Traderadiators.com south challenge cup on Saturday the 1oth of September with a 2.30pm kick off . Whitburn beat Dalkeith Thistle 3-0 at Dalkeith to get through .
NEW SIGNINGS
We welcome two new players to the Albyn Park this week . Robbie Sinclair joins us after being on trial the past few weeks and show he has great ability and will be an asset to the Brox .Robbie was with Edinburgh University last time with spells at Stenhousemuir and Dunipace . Brad Donaldson has joined us from Tranet and will bolster our defence with a number of clubs including Hibernian and Livingston part of his CV . We welcome both players to the club and wish them well on our quest for success
FIXTURE DATE CHANGES
Just a few changes of dates and venues for games coming up . Haddington Athletic v Broxburn Athletic scheduled for Wednesday the 2nd of November will be played 24 hours earlier on Tuesday 1st of November with a 7.30pm kick off .
Our games with LothianthistleHV have been swapped around . Broxburn Athletic v LothianthistleHV will be played at the Albyn Park on Saturday the 5th of November with a 2-30pm kick off . We will now play the return fixture on Friday the 9th of December 2022 with a 7.30pm kick off at Ainslie Park .
KEYDRAW JACKPOT IS WON
The jackpot in this week’s Keydraw was won by Brian Hughes c/o Broxburn who collects £1200 in total after Andrew the club Chaplin picked the correct key to open the jackpot box . This means next week’s jackpot is back to £300 with 21 keys to pick from . Next weeks draw will be on Sunday the 21st of August at 5pm and will be live on our Facebook page .
