Tonight the draw for the preliminary round 2 of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup and we have landed a home tie against Tayside club Lochee United .  This tie is scheduled for Saturday the 2nd of September .  The full draw as follows

Ties scheduled for Saturday 2nd September

After a fantastic weekend of football it was a delight for all to lift our very own 75th Anniversary tournament trophy . The four clubs involved put on a great show of the  4 games . Close tight games with all teams giving their all was a sight to behold . Today Dundee United (B) beat Livingston F.C.(B) 2-1 with Owen Stirton opening the scoring on the 70th minutes for the Tayside club  Brandon Forbes doubled their advantage on 78 minutes before Che Reily got a consolation on 82 minutes . The final was another tight affair with Calum Heath opening the scoring on 4 minutes . Pollok took the lead with a quick fire double on 20 and 21 minutes through Kenneth Barr and Stephen Docherty . Broxburn were not to be denied and the second half saw Greg Page equalise on 58 minutes before Darren Downie made sure the trophy stayed in Broxburn with a goal with eight minutes left . As host we would like to thank our three guest clubs for making the tournament a success and thank you to all their supporter’s who attended the games . We wish all the best of luck for the season ahead

We welcome new signing Marky Munro to the club . Marky joins us from Cumbernauld Colts Having previously been with Clyde and Camelon . the 22 year old defender has been on the park in recent friendlies and has impressed with his performances. we hope he continues to produce the same going forward and wish him well at the club .

On Tuesday evening we get back to the action with a game at home to last season’s Lowland league challenger’s Tranent . The game kick’s off at 7.45pm and admission is Adults £4 and Concessions £2  16 and under’s are free . Season Tickets are valid for this match and all our friendlies and league games . Season Tickets are on sale and available at reception on Thursday’s 7pm until 8.30pm and Saturdays 11am until 12.30pm. Adults ticket £105 , Concession’s £45, 16 and under season tickets free on registration . Season tickets can also be purchased online through our store page and facebook . No tickets will be on sale Tuesday’s due to games being played  and will be on sale up until the 29th July (season start ) . Fixtures are scheduled to be released next Monday the 10th of July

The latest to put pen to paper is forward Kai Wilson . Kai joins us from East Stirlingshire and was loaned out to Dunipace where he had a succesful goal rate . The 21 year old had a spell at Bathgate Thistle  . We welcome Kai to the club and hope he keeps up his scoring habit .
