SUPPORTER’S INJURY

We have sent Auchinleck Talbot  a message of thanks and gratitude on behalf of the club and James’s family  to their medical staff and team physio who treated James Black who took a tumble on the terracing near the end of yesterdays game . Update on James is he spent overnight in St John’s after being dropped off there by the team bus .He has now been transferred to the Royal Infirmary to have an operation on a broken hip . We wish James a speedy recovery .

KEYDRAW RESULT

This weeks keydraw was won by Kenny Tully from Broxburn who collected £50 as Stephen Stuart who helped with the draw failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box . Next week’s draw will have a jackpot of £1250 and only two keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box . Next week’s draw will be on Tuesday 7th of February at 7.30pm  live on our facebook page . DAVID GREENHILL

David Greenhill has decided to leave the club and departs amicably . David has been a good servant  to the club in the few years he has graced the Albyn Park  and we appreciate every effort he has put in both on and off the park . We wish him well in his future and will always be welcomed back at the club .

BUS FULL FOR AUCHINLECK

Unfortunately the team bus for Auchinleck Talbot v Broxburn Ath match next Saturday 4th February is now full . Travel details will be published next week how to attend . We thank you for your support it is important to us .

Could all please note that the South Challenge cup tie at Auchinleck is a 2-00pm kick off . There will be a team bus travelling to the game leaving the Albyn Park at 11 am on the 4th of February .There will be a limited number of seats available for supporter’s who wish to travel on the bus . Please book your seat with any committee member  as soon as possible to secure your seat .

EAST OF SCOTLAND LEAGUE CUP DRAW

The first and second round of the League cup was drawn tonight and will be a straight knock out competition this season . The draw paired us away in the first round to Preston Athletic  scheduled for the 4th of March . If we get past Preston Ath in the first round we will be at home to Sauchie or St Andrews in the second round  scheduled for the 1st of April .These dates are subject to clubs progressing in the South Challenge cup  and may be altered in some cases .

NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM IN PLACE

We are delighted to announce our new management team of Stevie Pittman , Derek McWilliams and Billy McPhee . All three are former Broxburn Athletic Players and Manager . We look forward to them putting forward their plans and getting the club challenging for success . They take over immediately .

We would like to thank Scott McNaughton for his efforts as interim manager since Chris left and his efforts for the club over the past few years , we wish Scott all the best for his future career
