Very disappointing to go out of the DJ Laing East of Scotland cup the way we did .Knowing we can play better and showed it in the second half was the disappointing part of the tie . If we had played for most of the 90 than just some of the 90 minutes we would be looking forward to a trip to Dundee North End next week . We must concentrate and get players back to fitness before we face Boness or Linlithgow in the semi final of the Conservatory Convertors Fife and Lothian cup .This tie will be played no sooner than a week on Saturday depending on the fixture’s issued later this weekend .

Not a good way to sign off our league campaign with this defeat .Two second half goals from through long balls caught us out and lessons must be learned going into our cup ties in the coming weeks .

The draw for the DJ Laing East of Scotland cup semi finals was made at the weekend and is as follows … Musselburgh Ath or Jeanfield Swifts v Bonnyrigg Rose or Kelty Hearts ;;;; Dundee North End v Tranent or Broxburn Athletic . The Dundee North End v Tranent or Broxburn Ath semi final is scheduled for Saturday 20th May with a 2-30pm kick off .

Very disappointing today made chances but could not convert into goals . What a way to bounce back after last weeks performance .With the side depleted by injury and holidays everyone of the players today gave their all for the jersey and deserve all the plaudits for this excellent performance .Right through the side the attitude was fantastic and the ease of which we got our goals was a joy to behold .Goals from Miller (2) , McNaughton , Scott , Paterson and Anderson was just reward for their efforts .Midweek to look forward to at home to Bonnyrigg Rose with a 7pm kick off in the McBookie Superleague .
