On Wednesday the 27th of December Broxburn Athletic are playing Pumpherston in a friendly match with a 7-15pm kick off lets hope we can get a full ninety minutes to blow the Xmas celebrations away .

BROXBURN V TYNECASTLE
Tonight’s match with Tynecastle was abandoned at half time due to a blanket of fog that descended on the Albyn park just as the game kicked off .It got gradually worse and with Broxburn leading 7-0 the referee and both clubs agreed to abandon the match at the half time whistle . Goals from Kieron Anderson (3) , Alexander Murray (3) and Nicholas Locke got the counters in a impressive first half showing .
KEY DRAW RESULT
Jack MacBrayne c/o The Masonic Arms won £50 in this week’s key draw but failed to pick the key to open the jackpot box . Next week’s draw on Sunday the 24th of December will have a jackpot of £750 and 12 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box .

Next Saturday the 16th of December we are at home to Penicuik Athletic in the last official match of the year 2017 in the McBookie Superleague with a 2-00pm kick off .This will be followed by a two week break and official fixtures will restart on Saturday the 6th of January 2018 . Two fixture’s scheduled for the festive period are of course subject to Scottish junior cup replays or postponements .which will take precedent if the weather does not improve .

Today’s game at home to Penicuik Athletic is off today due to heavy overnight freezing conditions and as at the park at 9am temperature’s were still -3 giving the park no chance despite Jimmy and Fred spending hours on the park yesterday applying special salt for the park which has had no effect as the severe weather bites .
