TRANENT V BROXBURN ATH

A disappointing way to end the season knowing we can play better than we did today and ultimately ended our season sooner than we would have liked .We would like to thank our support that has followed us in numbers this season and hopefully will continue to grow next season in the new Premier league in the East of Scotland league .We would like to thank our sponsors and all the helpers with whom not we would not be able to compete at this level and higher in our ambitions .Hard work starts now to gather in sponsorship and funding to help us be challenging next season .If you know of any company you may think can help we have a range of packages to suit .Please contact the committee in the first instance   ,once again we thank you .

Well done to all with a special mention to Alan Cunningham and Christopher Townsley who worked tirelessly to collate all the material and documentation in place for our application .This gives us the opportunity to go forward and will be doing our utmost to improve and successfully lead the club to more success and build on our achievements this season .With your help we can make it happen so keep “Backing The Burn ” .

BROXBURN ATHLETIC V BONNYRIGG ROSE

So near yet so far ,when up 2-0 we were in a great position but credit to Bonnyrigg who never gave up and their ten men secured the title in the last ten minutes . We can be proud of the effort of the players this season and giving us the dream . We will be playing in the newly formed premier league next season which everybody knows will probably be a better league to play our football in and competition will be better for the club. Yes we would have took the promotion but it is not the end of the world as expressed earlier . We can still win silverware with Tranent in our way next week at Forrester’s park in the third round of the King cup with a Trip to Newtongrange in the quarter final awaiting the victors .
