ROSS ALLUM TRANSFER

Ross Allum has joined Hill of Beath with immediate effect . Hill of Beath intimated that they were offering Ross a precontract as per rules but in the interest of all parties a transfer was agreed and we wish Ross all the best at his new club

This week’s Keydraw was won by Shona Pirie who collects £50 as Andrew MacPherson who helped with the draw this week failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box . Next week’s draw will have a jackpot of £600 with 15 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box . Next week’s draw will be on Sunday the 16th of January at 5pm live on our facebook page . PRECAUTIONS WHEN ATTENDING ALBYN PARK

We would ask all attendee’s to the Albyn Park to please follow the following adviced  guidelines

Do not attend any event if you have any symptoms of covid .

Take a precautionary lateral flow test prior to attending the ground . (not mandatory )

Ensure that mandatory regulations are followed when travelling to and from the ground .

Keep a safe distance  when entering and exiting the ground .

Ensure that mandatory regulations are followed when using hospitality facilities when in the ground .

Keep a safe distance from others within the ground .

Use the hand sanitisation facilities both on entry and exiting the ground ..

Please adhere to all instructions posted throughout the ground .

Wear a mask when indoors in the ground at all times unless exempt from doing so .

REFRESHMENT KIOSK FOR LINLITHGOW MATCH

Due to covid precautions we will not be opening the refreshment kiosk or bar at the park for Thursdays match against Linlithgow  . We can only apologise for any inconvenience this may cause . We are protecting everybody’s safety and this is just one of the precautions we have decided implement . We realise the loss of income from this source on a busy night is  something this club can not afford but the safety of our volunteers and supporter’s is paramount during this covid pandemic  . STAY SAFE

BROXBURN ATH V LINLITHGOW ROSE TICKETS

Just a reminder tonight between 7pm and 8.30pm  will be the last opportunity to pay cash for the match on Thursday evening . With tickets limited to 500 there are not many left so make sure you get your ticket and not be disappointed .Tickets are on sale through Fanbase but once the 500 threshold is reached that format will be closed .

SIGNING NEWS

Broxburn Athletic have secured a temporary loan from Galafairydean Rovers Football Club attacking midfielder Liam Gray  . Liam is no stranger to the Albyn Park as he spent a season here in 2014/2015 before joining Armadale Thistle where he left to join Gala Fairydean at the start of this season . He also had a season at Broxburn Colts in 2007/2008 with Broxburn Colts . After the postponement delayed his debut for us he will be available for this week’s Linlithgow Rose match on Thursday evening .

This week’s keydraw was won by Ronnie Merideth who collects £50 as Frank Greenan who helped with the draw ,failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box .Next weeks draw will be on Sunday the 2nd of January 2022 at 5pm and will have a jackpot of £500 and 17 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box . We thank Frank for his time today .

BROXBURN ATHLETIC V LINLITHGOW ROSE TICKETS

Just a reminder that cash entry tickets for our match v Linlithgow Rose at the Albyn Park on Thursday 30th December will be on sale again this afternoon from just after 5pm after the keydraw is made until 6pm . There will be no cash option at the gates on the night of the match all tickets must be bought on the dates provided . We will also be selling tickets on Tuesday evening from 7pm until 8-30pm ,if any tickets left they will be available through Fanbase  There is a Government restriction of 500 in total of attendees for this match of which there are 420 tickets left .

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Everybody at the club sends our best wishes to you during this festive period and hope you and your families have a healthy festive period . We thank your continued support from all areas as we approach the end of another turbulent year with hope for better in 2022  . We can not thank you well enough for your support through the gates or through our media channels . Our Friends of Broxburn Athletic has been invaluable to the club and we appreciate your contribution to the club . Our keydraw has went on a direct debit payment and this has been a huge success with Johnny still topping up with cash sales round the local Pubs and Clubs through out the community . Our sponsors have stood by the club once more and we again would thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their invaluable funding and wish them success going into 2022 . All the volunteers who help run the club  are invaluable to this club and we appreciate all the work they do either publicly or behind the scene ,of which there are plenty ,  Covid has proved to be a challenge for all and we are no different with protocols we set in place were respected by all attending the Albyn Park  and kept us reasonably safe . Protocols were relaxed just recently but with a surge in the virus we are being urged to be more vigilant and bring back some of the protocols we had in place for the foreseeable future .Also spare a thought for those who’s Christmas has been ruined as they have to isolate from the outside world and close family through the pandemic , we feel your pain and frustration’s and hope you come through this a stronger human being . Finally take time to think of those who have lost loved ones this past year who will have someone missing from the dinner table . Please stay safe and strong and we will get through this turbulent period safely together .
