Next Saturday, the 12th of December,  Broxburn Athletic are away to Linlithgow Rose in the McBookie Superleague with a 1-30 kick off (note new kick off times ) .Saturday the 19th fixture will be known by Monday with that being the last game of the year .There will be no games officially scheduled for the 26th of December 2015 or Saturday the 2nd of January

EAST REGION NEWS FROM SATURDAY 5TH DECEMBER

Musselburgh Athletic moved to the top of the McBookie Superleague thanks to a 2-1 home win over Camelon in the only Superleague match to beat the weather .Haddington failed to go top of the McBookie Premier league slipping up at home to lowly Montrose Roselea 3-1 in the only Premier match played today .Downfield went top of the North district McBookie league on goal difference  thanks to a 1-1 draw at East Craigie ,Kinnoul scored five without reply at Arbroath Vics and game of the day was at Bottom club Forfar Albion despite scoring three goals they lost the match 7-3 to Dundee North End and still remain pointless .No games were played in the South league and all other cup ties were postponed as well .  There will be a Sunday inspection for Linlithgow Rose’s William Hill Scottish cup tie at Wick scheduled for Monday evening if postponed or played and ends in a draw it will be rescheduled for Wednesday evening at Wick or if replay at Linlithgow tight schedule for part time players .

MATCH OFF TODAY V CARNOUSTIE PANMURE

Todays game at home to Carnoustie Panmure has been postponed after consideration to our visitors travelling conditions and high winds that would probably put the game off ,we decided in the best interests of all and with agreement of the E.R.S.J.F.A. it would be best to postpone the match early before anyone travelled .

BUS FOR ST ANDREWS MATCH (game definitely on )

Bus leaves the Albyn park today for St Andrews at 11 am sharp .The game is definitely on confirmed this morning from St Andrews  with a 1-45 pm kick off

Andrew McQuillan

Andrew McQuillan has been transfered to Blackburn United it was decided when Blackburn made an offer for the player and the player agreed to go to them it was in the best interest of both sides .We wish Andy all the success in the future .

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE

Yes it is that time of year again Christmas Raffle ticket time . 1st prize is  Drinks Hamper which last year was worth well over £250 2nd Prize is A Food Hamper with a third prize of  A £50 John Lawson meat voucher  plus many other prizes . NEWS AND RESULTS FROM THE EAST SATURDAY 7TH NOVEMBER

Bonnyrigg rose went top of the Superleague after their 1-1 draw with us at home putting them level with Penicuik on 24 points after Penicuik lost 1-0 at home to Newtongrange Star ..Jeanfield Swifts went top of the Premier league with a 5-3 win over Oakley and Lochee utd losing their second game in the league in succession at home to Dundee Violet 3-2 . In the North district league , the third new league leaders of the day , Blairgowrie went top with a 2-1 win at home to Dundee North End to go a point clear of Glenrothes  who’s game was postponed today at Coupar Angus . In the south league only thre games survived the heavy rain with Tranent consolidating their position at the top with a 5-1 win at Livingston .New boys Easthouse Lily had their biggest win with a 8-0 win at home to Crossgates  who had a goalkeeper crisis prior to this match . Tayport shocked Kelty Hearts in the DJ Laing East of Scotland inflicting Kelty’s first defeat on their new park 1-0 .

Jackie Fairlie’s funeral has been arranged for Friday 13th of November at Thomas Browns at 2pm followed by Livingston crematorium at 3pm

It is with sadness we have to announce the passing of former President and honoury President Jackie Fairlie  Jackie was a stalwart of the club and a friend to all who met him . Always there for advice and never a bad word to say about anyone .Jackie will be sadly missed by many and the club send their condolences to Iain , Alan and families at this sad time .A minutes silence will be observed at Broxburn’s game at Bonnyrigg Rose .
