Darren Downie has signed from Armadale Thistle on a permanent deal .Darren had been on loan at Broxburn the past few months and really enjoys being here .we would like to thank “Friends of Broxburn Athletic ” for providing the transfer fee and making this transfer happen . There is a bus going to Broughty on Saturday for our match with Broughty Athletic in the McBookie Superleague and some seats are available to any supporters who would like to travel on the team coach . Broxburn Ath beat Pumpherston 4-2 in this arranged friendly to dust down the cobwebs of the festive season . Pumpherston took a two goal lead before Broxburn’s Alexander hit a hat trick and a Darren Gribben penalty restored the Superleagues side blushes . Both teams were delighted to get a game under their belts before the resumption of competition this weekend .
