The club are running a supporter’s bus to Newtongrange for the Conservatory Convertors Fife and Lothian’s cup Final next Wednesday the 7th of May . There will be three pick up points and all seats are £7 .The pick up points and times are as follows Opposite the Oatridge hotel 6pm , then opposite the Half Way House at 6-05pm and finally opposite the swimming pool leaving at 6-15pm .This is a 49 seater please book early and make sure you will be able to take your seat .

A great performance from the whole team today gives us a chance of silverware a week on Wednesday. Goals from Darren Cole , Alexander Miller and Kieron Anderson set us up for a fine win over Boness United and a chance to get some pride back from the defeat of our cup final opponents Tranent .The final will be played at Newtongrange Star with a 7-15 pm kick off on Wednesday the 7th of June hope we can get the backing on the way to lifting the trophy that we got today and the boys will strive not to let you down .C’MON THE BURN

The date and venue has been set for the Conservatory Convertors Fife & Lothians Cup final . Newtongrange Star will host the final between Boness Utd or Broxburn Athletic v Tranent juniors on Wednesday the 7th of June with a 7-15pm kick off

Broxburn will play Boness United away on Saturday the 27th of May in the semi final of the Conservatory Convertors Fife & Lothian Cup with a 2-30pm kick off .Get along to Newtown Park and support the team your support is valuable and very much appreciated by the team .Lets hope we have a game left after Saturday and a chance for silver ware .

Kelty Hearts took a step closer to the title with a 2-0 win at Linlithgow Rose .Bonnyrigg kept up their slim hopes with a 6-0 win at Broughty Athletic . Bonnyrigg Rose are 12 points behind the leaders with four games left and have a worse goal difference of 12 goals a tall order but one that can be done as they have to play each other at Kelty . Musselburgh Athletic joined Fauldhouse United in the Premier league after losing 2-1 at Jeanfield Swifts .This leaves Newtongrange Star with a life line in the play off’s with third placed Premier side Forfar West End (all dates to be arranged )

The date for our Conservatory Convertors Fife & Lothian semi final has been set .Boness United play Linlithgow Rose on Monday 22nd of May .If Boness Utd win we will be playing Boness Utd at Boness on Saturday the 27th May with a 2-30pm kick off, If Linlithgow Rose win we will play them at Linlithgow on the Monday night 29th of May with a 7pm kick off, will update fixture after Monday’s game .The other semi final will be played on Wednesday the 31st of May at Musselburgh between Musselburgh Ath and Tranent .

Very disappointing to go out of the DJ Laing East of Scotland cup the way we did .Knowing we can play better and showed it in the second half was the disappointing part of the tie . If we had played for most of the 90 than just some of the 90 minutes we would be looking forward to a trip to Dundee North End next week . We must concentrate and get players back to fitness before we face Boness or Linlithgow in the semi final of the Conservatory Convertors Fife and Lothian cup .This tie will be played no sooner than a week on Saturday depending on the fixture’s issued later this weekend .
