Jack Beasley
Jack Beasley has got a new job working with the S.F.A. coaching department of the South East Area.This means that he can no longer play football as part of S.F.A. rules .We hope to get that changed at the next board meeting of the Non professional game Board which will meet in early April .But in the mean time we would like to wish Jack all the best in his new career move . Hopefully it will not be the last we see of him at the Albyn park .
Broxburn Ath v Pumpherston
Todays friendly with Pumpherston Juniors finished 2-2 .Broxburn took the lead in the first half with goals from Ross Nimmo and a penalty from Craig Scott .Pumpherston got an early goal back in the second half through Allan McRitchie with an equaliser on 55 minutes from Derek Shaw .A good run out for both teams keeping them match fit for the rigours that will come in the following weeks hopefully .
GAME OFF FRIENDLY ON
Todays game at Lochee United is postponed due to waterlogged park we will now be playing Pumpherston juniors in a friendly at the Albyn Park with a 2-00pm kick off .
FIXTURE UPDATE
Fixture’s have now been issued for next two weeks .Saturday 10th of March we are away to Lochee United in a McBookie Superleague match with a 2-30pm kick off and a bus will be leaving the Albyn Park at 11-45am ,anyone wishing a seat on the bus should contact committee as soon as possible .The following week on Saturday the 17th of March we travel to Fife to play Kennoway Star Hearts in the McBookie Superleague with a 2-30pm kick off

The East Region has taken the decision early to cancel the full programme of matches scheduled for the 3rd of Match this week due to extreme weather condition’s .This was taken in the interest of safety and the unlikely hood off any games having a remote chance of being on .This gives all the chance to plan their weekend accordingly .

Broxburn v Bonnyrigg
Great three points two first half goals from Gordon Donaldson and Kieran Anderson gave us a good lead to build on .The second half saw a Alexander Miller goal half way through the half settle the game and despite a late late goal from Neil Martynuik we can not grumble too much . Puts us into second in the league on goal difference from Penicuik Ath who beat Linlithgow Rose 3-1 today .Makes for a good night tonight in the club with race night scheduled for a 7pm start( a full report will be posted as soon as possible under matches on the website .)
