KEY DRAW RESULT
The key draw this week was won by May Dennison c/o The Half Way House who won £50 .Unfortunately she did not pick the key to open the jackpot box and next week’s draw on Sunday the 25th of February will have a jackpot of £1200 with only 3 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box .
Newtongrange Star v Broxburn Ath
A good win if not the best performance of recent weeks but a win is a win . Ross Nimmo’s goal in the dying minutes of the game was worthy of winning any match and added to Nicholas Locke’s opener on 51 minutes with a Dale O’Hara counter for Newtongrange Star in between gave us just the edge I thought we deserved during the game. Mark Fountain
The club wish to pass on our condolence’s to Mark and his family who’s father past away a fortnight ago with the funeral held on Friday past ,it is even sadder as his Mother past away last week before the Father’s funeral and we can only imagine the grief that the family are going through at this very sad time. Our thoughts are with Mark and his family at this time .
Penicuik Ath v Broxburn Ath
Disappointing to loose a goal four minutes into added time when we looked to have weathered the storm on a heavy park The early goal from Alexander Miller looked to be enough with both sides creating chances on a dodgy surface that Penicuik should receive credit for, for getting the game on . Both teams also for getting on with it and despite the 8 cards and two ordering off’s it was not a dirty game with only one bad tackle the whole game should be credited for their performance’s . FIXTURE UPDATE
Fixtures have been issued for next two weeks with a trip to Midlothian scheduled the next two weeks with Penicuik the opposition on Saturday the 10th of February in the McBookie Superleague with a 2-00pm kick off .The following week we travel to Newtongrange Star for a McBookie Superleague match with a 2-30pm kick off .

The club would like to welcome Euan Valentine ,a local lad , who has been farmed out to us until the end of the season .Euan is a left sided player and will go into the squad for Saturday’s game at home to Broughty Ferry .We wish Euan all the best for his time here and hope he does well .
