Another new arrival at the Albyn Park is Mark McConnell who has joined us after captaining Civil Service Strollers last season . The midfielder has had spells with Edinburgh City and Bonnyrigg Rose . We wish Mark well at the Brox .

EAST OF SCOTLAND QUALIFYING CUP DRAW
We have been given a bye in the first round of the Qualifying cup and a home tie in the second round against Kirkcaldy and Dysart football club . dates to be announced

This week’s keydraw was won by George Simpson from Broxburn who collects £50 as Frank Greenan who helped with the draw failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box . JACK SAYERS RETURN TO THE ALBYN
Local lad Jack Sayers has signed for the seniors for season 2022/2023 . Jack was with Blackburn United and the full back is looking forward to be playing with his home town team .Prior to signing for Blackburn he spent his development time at Broxburn Athletic Colts set up . We wish him well for the season .
NEW PLAYERS ARRIVING AT THE ALBYN FOR SEASON
Players are now being able to be announced for the new season and we will let you know over the next week who these players are . Not a stranger to the Albyn Park is Darren Downie who was with the club between 2016 when he played 22 games and scored two goals He has had spells with Blackburn United and more recently Musselburgh Athletic . Darren has developed into a top striker and was one of the top strikers in recent seasons in the East of Scotland Football league and we welcome him back into the Broxburn family . PLAYERS LEAVING THE CLUB
Craig Turnbull will be released from his contract to continue the opportunities he will have at Heriot Watt University . Craig was with our development side the one season we had and he had played 10 matches with the first team . Craig and his teammates at Heriot Watt University , signed off the season with a extra time 1-0 win over Livingston United at Whitburn in the King Cup .We wish him all the best for his future studies and opportunities . Greg Redmond is another who graduated from our development side and spent last season at Pumpherston after playing an initial 11 games for the first team scoring one goal . Greg has plans to travel for a year and we wish him well for the future when he returns .
