Just to let everybody know that on Saturday there is a Cultural Parade which will result in the main street being closed through Broxburn from 3.30pm until 5.30pm . If the match finishes at it scheduled 90 minutes the road out of Broxburn to Winchburgh will be the way to avoid Broxburn Main Street . We hope this does not cause to much inconvenience
SAM MILLER FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

The funeral of Sam Miller will take place on Friday the 6th of May at Strathbrock St Nicholas Parish church Uphall at 1pm . The funeral will proceed to Loaninghill cemetery at 2pm . After the Cemetery all are welcome to the Buchan park Bowling green for refreshments .
RONNIE ALEXANDER’S FUNERAL DETAILS

Ronnie Alexander’s funeral will take place on the 5th of May at Kirkcaldy crematorium at 12.45pm .

LEAGUE CUP KNOCK OUT STAGES CONFIRMED

After Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts defeat of Dundonald Bluebell in mid week 2-1 away from home they will now be Broxburn’s opponents in the knock out stage of the League cup . This game will be on Saturday the 30th of April with a 2-30pm kick off at the Albyn Park . Hospitality will be available for this match and will be in big demand going on recent games so please book early to avoid disappointment .

There will be a minutes applause prior to our match at home to Blackburn United tomorrow . Ronnie was a much respected member of Broxburn Athletic and the postings on social media this week sums up the feeling the people who knew him felt about the man . He was invaluable when setting up the return to football behind closed doors with himself and his son Graeme setting up free streaming of matches so the supporter’s could watch the games live without any charge from the Albyn Park . Ronnie you will be sadly missed as will Sam who passed away the day before in a sad weekend for the club with the loss of two great guys . Both men will be sorely missed . Thoughts and condolences go out to all family and friends of both men .

Saturday the 23rd of April we are away to Dundonald Bluebell with a 2-30pm kick off in the Premier League . Tuesday the 26th of April we travel to Penicuik Athletic in the Premier league with a 7.30pm kick off . The 30th of April we are at home but awaiting our opponents in the league cup with a 2-30pm kick off .On Saturday 7th of May we travel to Newtongrange Star in the premier league with a 2-30pm kick off . Then on Saturday the 14th of May we finish our league campaign with a home game against Sauchie with a 2-30pm kick off .

This weekend is a very sad one for everybody at the club with Sam Miller passing away yesterday the sad news has reached us that Committee member Ronnie Alexander has sadly passed away after a illness that finally took its toll . Ronnie was a proper gentleman and his presence has been and will be very much missed . Ronnie put many an hour behind the scene setting up covid measures for fans to return to the Albyn Park . Loved by all and will be sadly missed by the Broxburn family . Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends at this sad time . R.I.P. Ronnie
