A good three points in a much overdue win over Boness today was well deserved . Despite an Anderson missed penalty we kept the pressure up and scored through Grant Gavin from the resultant corner . Continued pressure through out the half did not produce any more deserved goals .When Boness did find their way through they found Connor Wallace in inspired form to deny his former club . A good three points and keeps our unbeaten record going since late November .

The club would like to thank the Patrons of The Badger’s Brook who through a bottle collection organised through John Cunningham ,raised a magnificent sum of £330 which they handed over at last week’s home game against Newtongrange Star . We appreciate the effort and this will go towards helping the club compete in the Superleague and stay there .long may your support of the club continue .

We now know our fixtures for the next three weeks .Saturday the 4th of March we are scheduled to play Boness United away in the McBookie Superleague with a 2-30pm kick off .On Saturday the 11th of March we are travelling to Kelty Hearts for a McBookie Superleague match with a 2-30pm kick off . We return to the Albyn Park on Saturday the 18th of March for a McBookie Superleague match at home to Camelon with a 2-30pm kick off .

A safe passage into the last eight is deserved after their 2-1 win here today against Newtongrange Star .Kieron Anderson scored in the first half to give us a half time lead . He missed a penalty early in the second half before Cropley levelled things for the visitors .Kieron made amends late on getting the winner .(Full report in Matches on the website will be published asap)

Todays game was a roller coaster of emotions through out the ninety minutes A poor display in the first half saw us down 2-0 to a Lewis Baker double . The second half saw a improved performance with Kieron Anderson providing three assists for Nichols Locke then Alexander Miller with two to put us in front before losing an equaliser from a corner in the dying minutes which was bundled over the line .
