After the weekend results Broxburn Athletic qualified for the first round proper of the league cup on being the best runner’s up by virtue of scoring more goals than Crossgates who had the same points but had only scored three goals once the results against the bottom club in each section was removed from the runner’s up record . The runners up will play in a prelim and clubs who qualified for that are as follows along with the best third place team . Blackburn Utd , Easthouse’s , Crossgates , Haddington Ath , Dunbar Utd , Hill of Beath , Dunipace , Boness Utd , Tynecastle and the best third placed team Edinburgh United .
