On six minutes a ball into the box from Kelly found the head of Alexander Miller who made Reece Smail in the visitors goal be at his best to save . Two minutes later a ball in from Jack Beasley found miller who’s header over the keeper was goal bound but for the alert Smail being able to turn and gather the ball before it crossed the line . On 11 minutes Jack Beasley was played through  but strong defending stopped him from scoring .Nicholas Locke saw a header sail over the bar on 13 minutes from a strong ball in from Andrew Gillen . The second came after 34 minutes when a good ball into the box found Locke who’s shot was well saved but Locke reacted well and from the bye line turned the ball back into the box for ALEXANDER MILLER to knock the ball into the net from six yards .Beasley tried his luck after 40 minutes when he turned and shot from thirty yards out but saw it drift just wide of the target . The third goal came a minute later when a free kick into the box from wide right was met by the head of GORDON DONALDSON who gave the keeper no chance from eight yards out .

The second half started as the first half finished with Donaldson seeing an effort go just wide left . Donaldson again was at the back post from a corner but his effort was cleared on 51 minutes . Goal number four came on 57 minutes when a throw in to Kelly saw him pass to strike mate ALEXANDER MILLER on the edge of the box to volley home into the far left corner from the right hand side . Kelly had a good chance on 61 minutes but was cleared for a corner . Ormiston had a chance when good play across the eighteen yard box found Tinashe Ruwona but the Ormiston player shot over the bar .Broxburn went nap on 71 minutes when Craig Scott put a great ball out to Beasley on the right and he crossed into the box where GREG BINNIE was on hand to turn the ball into the net .Three minutes later it was six when a ball into the box came out to ROSS NIMMO who hammered the ball into the bottom left hand corner . Three minutes later the little midfielder saw a diving header at the back post four yards out came of the post  and clear of danger . It was only to be delayed a couple of minutes for him to get his second and side’s seventh when ROSS NIMMO received a good ball out on the left and he got into the box before firing home into the bottom left hand corner   . Kelly turned and shot over on 72 minutes before ROSS NIMMO completed his hat trick on 84 minutes when again he received a ball out left and ran in on goals to lift the ball over the keeper into the top right hand corner .Kelly could have added to the scoring but just failed to control the ball and the chance was gone . A comprehensive win of which there were a few today ,but we will have to be at our best against much stronger opposition next week in Perth against Jeanfield Swifts in the Alec Jack cup second round a much tougher game expected .

The winner came in 89 minutes when Ross Nimmo saw Nicholas Locke and played a through ball into his path he got to the bye line and sent in a cross that ALEXANDER MILLER sent high into the net to seal a victory to the delighted Broxburn team mates and faithful .
