The midfielder joins Broxburn Athletic from Lowland League side University of Stirling.
Manager Christopher Townsley said:
“We are really pleased that we have been able to add Tom to the squad, he has been in a great environment at Stirling University, playing in a very competitive Lowland League. Tom adds further quality and composure to our midfield, and we are looking forward to working with him”
“From my experience players coming in from University clubs have a great work ethic, attitude and technical ability, particularly from Stirling where they are on scholarships working under Chris Geddes (well known to Broxburn Athletic supporters). We have no doubt Tom will bring those attributes to the club and will fit in really well here.”
Cowley is a young and ambitious midfielder that thinks Broxburn is the perfect fit at this stage of his development: “I was looking at a number of options that would continue my development at this point in my career. When I spoke to the gaffer and looked at the set-up, Broxburn was the perfect fit. A club with ambition that is looking to move forward. I am excited to be a part of it.”
