Very disappointing today in a poor game a scrappy goal half way through the second half for the visitors and a missed penalty for ourselves summed up the ninety minutes .We know we can and must do better and will do better I am sure .We do not become a bad side over night yes we have had a few knocks to contend with but all clubs go through that no excuses better performance’s to come and get back on track .(full report under matches on website )

Please note that the Broxburn Ath v Preston Ath Football Nation cup tie scheduled to be played on Tuesday the 23rd of October will now take place a week later on Tuesday the 30th of October with a 7-30pm kick off at the Albyn Park .

Broxburn Athletic are holding a fund raiser afternoon at Livingston Football Club on Sunday the 9th of December . This proved to be an excellent afternoon of entertainment for all with lots on offer and off course the show band The Motown Brothers plus supporting acts .The tickets priced at £25 include a three course meal .Tickets are selling fast .see any committee member if you would like to attend .
RACE NIGHT
Broxburn are holding a race night on Saturday the 17th of November in the club rooms at the park .The evening starts at 7pm and we are looking for sponsors and horse owners prior to the night anyone wishing to take part should contact any committee member .Sponsors are £25 with horse owners at £3 and also Jockeys at £3 hope to see you there entry on the night is free so come along bring a friend and BACK THE BURN

Good performance despite depleted squad The players effort and attitude was fantastic today with a 2-2 draw at ninety minutes with the tie could have gone any way Two goals in the second half of extra time saw Jeanfield progress to the fourth round of the South challenge Cup best of luck to them.
