BROXBURN ATH V TYNECASTLE (TAKE TWO)

We made it hard for us in the first half but the second half was a much improved performance  and the early penalty miss was forgotten as we ran in four goals without reply . Second half goals came from Donaldson, Kelly and two from captain Nicholas Locke . A good result and performance overall to take into our William Hill Scottish cup next week at Girvan . The next round of the SFA South Challenge Cup will be played on September the 14th when we will be at home to Edinburgh University  with a 2-30pm kick off .

Broxburn sealed the win with two first half goals from Conor Kelly and Alexander Miller  Tynecastle came into the game in the second half but to no avail with Broxburn creating the better chances .An away tie to Girvan in three weeks after they beat St Cuthberts away from home 7-1 today will be a tough tie to get through to the first round proper .

WILLIAM HILL SCOTTISH CUP

Less than 48 hours to go before we play Tynecastle in the first prelim round of the William Hill Scottish cup . The players have put in a good week of training in preparation for the match and are looking forward to our adventure with the prospect of a good run and hopefully getting to the stages where we will be drawn against the bigger league teams . In the meantime we have to make sure we are well prepared and ready for the whistle at 3-00pm and personally I can not wait . Tynecastle will be up for it as well and any slackness will be taken advantage off by either side . We will not be treating this tie lightly despite what others may say or think Tynecastle are more than capable of a win .Let’s hope we play to our full potential and can get the result that sees us progress .

BROXBURN ATHLETIC 20’S UPDATE
