Broxburn Athletic will now travel to Carluke rovers for a pre match friendly in place of the Pumpherston game which is cancelled .The game will kick off at 2-00pm and the park is situated on the Carnwath Road Carluke next to Carluke High School and is a 4G playing field .

Pumpherston have cancelled our friendly on Saturday due to injury hit squad leaving them not able to field a team .We are currently on the look out for a replacement fixture home or away and will post as soon as we have any news .
Bathgate Thistle v Broxburn Ath
Another good run out and polished performance with all involved playing at top tempo right to the last minute .Craig Scott got the scoring going in ten minutes when chipping into the top left hand corner from the right hand side of the box . Alexander Miller got the first of his hat trick on 21 minutes pouncing on a poor pass back to score .Miller got the third on 27 minutes . Jonni Turner got the Fourth from a tap in at the back post pass from Miller on thirty minutes . Greg Binnie added a fifth on 47 minutes . Miller completed his hat trick on 58 minutes .Richards replaced Linton and Gillen replaced Turner just after this goal . Scott Richards wasted no time scoring on the hour mark to make it 7-0 .Jack Beasley got on the scoring list with an eighth goal with 12 minutes left .Scott Richards got the ninth with two minutes remaining . A good work out pleasing to the eye lets hope it is the sign of things to come .
Broxburn Ath v Tayport
It was good to get playing time under way and we are very grateful to Tayport for filling the void in this friendly fixture at short notice .First half goals from Alexander Miller (2) and Jonni Turner put us 3-0 up at half time .The third from Miller was quality with a great cross field pass from Craig Scott inch perfect for Miller to fire into top left hand corner .The second half saw the return to the now fit Craig Purves and he did well in his come back game he replaced Chris Townsley at half time . In the middle of the half Nathan Donnelly-Kay ,who signed on this week replaced Jonni Turner with Connor Wallace replacing birthday boy Shaun Donoghue who turned 19 and local youngster Daniel Duncan getting half an hour in place of Craig Scott .Daniel turns 16 this Sunday the 15th of July . Alexander Miller got a fourth and his hat trick on 76 minutes with his own fourth and Broxburn Athletic’s goal number five on 90 minutes .With New signing Greg Binnie getting a sixth in injury time .Overall a good work out ,good performance and something to build on before the real games start at the end of the month in earnest .

St Bernards who we were meant to be playing on Saturday have pulled out the fixture due to lack of squad .We will now be playing Tayport at the Albyn Park with a 2-00pm kick off .Entry to the match is through the reception area at the park and by donation at the door .

Pre Season Schedule
Our pre season schedule has been organised in full now and is as follows
On Saturday the 14th we will be at home to St Bernards Amatuers with a 2pm kick off .St Bernards won their Scottish cup last season and will be a good test . On Monday the 16th of July we play Bathgate Thistle away from home with a 7-15pm kick off . On Saturday the 21st of July we are away to Pumpherston with a 2-00 pm kick off .This match will see the official opening of their redeveloped pavilion at Pumpherston .On Tuesday the 24th of July we are at home to LothianthistleHutchievale in a friendly with a 7-15pm kick off . Then it is on to official matches and we are at home to Dundonald on opening day in the league cup with a 2-30pm kick off on Saturday the 28th of July . On Tuesday the 31st of July we are at home to Craigroyston in the League cup with a 7-30pm kick off . On Saturday the 4th of August we travel to Newtongrange Star in the league cup with a 2-30pm kick off .On Saturday the 11th of August we travel to Dundonald Bluebell in the Alex Jack cup with a 2-30pm kick off . We then travel on the 18th of August to Gretna 2008 in the Football Nation cup with a 3-00pm kick off . We will be issued league fixtures by the beginning of next week .
KEY DRAW RESULT
Willie Dennison c/o J. Hughes won this week’s key draw and collected £50 . Unfortunately he did not pick the right key to open the jackpot box and next week’s draw on Sunday the 8th of July will have a jackpot of £950 with only 8 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box .

Admission prices at the Albyn Park will remain the same for season 2018/2019 at £6 for Adults and £3 for concessions .In this league, clubs set there own admission prices and you will find various admission prices on our travels .Save money with a season ticket with Adult season tickets priced at £60 for league games only with £30 for concessions ,these tickets entitle the holder to entry at all home Conference ‘C’ league games at the Albyn Park . Associate member season tickets are priced at £90 for adults and £60 for concessions .These tickets entitle the holder entry to all 12 home Conference ‘C ‘ league games at the Albyn Park and tea and snack at half time .
