Veo Matchday Camera Update

Followers of our social media channels will have been aware of a recent theft from the club recently, where our VEO matchday camera was stolen from a car post match. We are happy to update that it was found and has been collected, with no damage done to the equipment.

Stuart McLellan organised a Go-Fund me after the incident and raised a tremendous amount of £1,526, which both Stuart and the club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to all who contributed to the fund. The offer of refunds was declined by 99% of donators, we have reinvested some of the funds in a goal side camera which you may have seen footage of online recently, the quality of action provided has been first class.

MESSAGE FROM STUART

It was a worrying and difficult time for me recently after our Veo was stolen. As many of you know, the camera is a big part of what we do as a club – it helps us record matches, analyse performances, and share special moments with players, families and supporters.

In the days that followed, I genuinely felt the strength of this club. The messages, the offers of help, and the generosity shown through donations reminded me what this football community is all about. At a time when things could easily have felt overwhelming, your support carried me through.

I want to place on record my sincere thanks to every single person who contributed, reached out, or helped in any way. Your kindness and backing mean more than you’ll ever know, and it shows how much this club means to so many people.

We’re proud to have such excellent supporters behind us, and it’s moments like this that prove we’re more than just a football team — we’re a family.

Thank you all again.

Stuart and the media team
