Bonnyrigg Rose eliminated Cumbernauld Colts from the Scottish Cup with a 2-0 victory at Broadwood last Saturday. Jay McGarva gave Rose the lead six minutes into the game, with a good finish from a good ball through from Danny Dobbie. It was 2-0 Rose on fifty-nine minutes from an own goal by Colts Skipper Liam Allison. Colts manager John Doyle was sent to the stand late in the game by referee David Alexander for dissent.

Nothing clicked for Broxburn that day and Cumbernauld Colts played some decent stuff and took their chances.
