Broxburn Athletic took all the points in reverse fixture between the sides back in August.

The Blue Brazil took the lead with only a minute on the clock, with Jack Denham scoring a header from a cross. Broxburn dominated the rest of the first half but couldn’t take their chances and it was 1-0 Cowdenbeath at the half time break.

But Broxburn hit back two minutes into the second half, with ex Cowdenbeath player Jon Robertson heading home from a Marcus Lavery cross. The Badgers took the lead on seventy-five minutes. Andy Rodden’s cross is headed down by Chris O’ Kane for Errol Douglas who volleys home high into the net. A good showing from Broxburn that day, who showed great character in the second half to come from behind and win 2-1.
