FIXTURE UPDATES

After yesterdays results we have a fixture update  . After beating Preston Athletic we are due to play either Sauchie or St Andrews in the 2nd round who have yet to play their 1st round tie after Sauchie were involved in the South Challenge cup yesterday .Sauchie will play St Andrews on Tuesday evening the 7th of March . The second round is scheduled for Saturday first of April but Sauchie are scheduled for the next round of the South Challenge Cup should they get past St Andrews that date will be for the Challenge cup . In the Qualifying cup Linlithgow Rose beat Boness United 2-1 and sets up a next round tie at The Albyn Park on Tuesday the 14th of March  with a 7.30pm kick off .

PLAYER MOVEMENT

Two players have left the club this week with Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts asking for transfer listed Josh Jeffries . A deal was quickly done and he has moved on . Aaron Hamilton who has not forced his way into the side has decided to move on and will assess his future when the opportunity arises’s  . We thank both players for their efforts and wish them both all the best for the future .

KEYDRAW RESULT

This week’s keydraw was won by Jim Mckinnon who collected £50 as Lucas who helped with the draw failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box . Next week’s jackpot will be £350 with 20 keys to pick from to open the jackpot box . The next draw is on Tuesday the 7th of March at 7.30pm live on our facebook page . KEYDRAW JACKPOT WON

The jackpot in the Keydraw was won by Andrew Sayers who collects a total of £1400 as Jimmy Porteous picked the correct key to open the jackpot box . Well done to Andrew with his win . This means next week’s draw on Tuesday the 28th of February  live on our Facebook page at 7.30pm and have a jackpot of £300 with 21 keys to pick from to open the jackpot box . PLAYER MOVEMENT

Along with Callum Bremner making the permanent move from Linlithgow Rose to Broxburn Athletic , Max Williamson has joined us until the end of the season loaned out from Livingston Football club . Max is a promising youngster who will have a bright future in the game and looks like being a full time player with Livingston Football club next season . Max is 18 in April and showed in his cameo appearance at Auchinleck he has something to offer the squad .

Departing the club are Craig Newall and David Churchill who have Been released by mutual consent . Craig has served the club for almost two seasons starting 47 times plus 9 from the bench scoring one goal .

David joined the club from East Stirlingshire at the start of this season and found it hard to get a run  of games . He only started 3 and was a used sub 3 times scoring 1 goal . He went on loan for a spell at Civil Service Strollers from the beginning of December to beginning of February  .

We wish both Craig and David all the best for the future and thank them for their time at Broxburn Athletic .

KEYDRAW JACKPOT ROLLS ON

Lewis Cunningham  won £50 in this week’s keydraw as John Blair who helped with the draw failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box from the two keys left to open the box . Next week’s Keydraw will have a jackpot of £1350 and still only two keys to pick from to open the jackpot box . The next draw will be on Tuesday the 21st February live on our facebook page at 7.30pm . We thank John for his time helping with the draw .

BREMNER SIGNS FOR THE BURN

Broxburn have made their first permanent signing under new manager Stephen Pittman . Callum Bremner has made the short trip from Linlithgow Rose . Callum a very talented midfielder has been at Linlithgow for two seasons and was a short while at Newtongrange Star , a couple of month, prior to that he was at Stirling University . He was pro youth with Dunfermline before joining ,coincidently , our opponents youth set up at Tynecastle . We wish Callum all the best at the club and hope he has a succesful time here . A big thank you goes out to all the friends of Broxburn Athletic contributors who made this transfer possible .
